Will come back when in Townsville, it's dope! We booked apartment, it had everything you could ask for: central heating, a writing desk and ironing facilities. Moreover, free parking was provided.

Reef hq aquarium and other places worth exploring were within walking distance of the hotel. Perfect location, you can walk everywhere. Not the cheapest one but great value...

sandwich express, where you can eat, is just a walk down to the hotel. there was a balcony in our room. venue has a marvelous location. nice base for a city trip in townsville.
